SK-II Skincare.

Yes, I've heard so much rave about SK-II skincare and have been tempted to give it a try since forever!

Sadly, I have been putting it on hold as I didn't want to start too early (their pdts seems to target > mid 20s) and it's simply too expensive. 

But recently, I found some sk-ii sample products (gentle cleanser, clear lotion, mask-in lotion, facial treatment essence, deep surge ex) in some of my subscribed beauty parcels. 

To cut it short, I felt my skin is really becoming better!

After the sample bottles finished, I continued purchasing samples of their clear lotion (toner) and fte as I liked this combination the best. Can't really comment on it's individual effects as I used it as a combination. However, my skin feels much more cleaner and smoother (at least lesser bumps). Best of all, it doesn't adds irritation to my super sensitive skin!

While I'm loving it, I have been hearing that one shouldn't continuously use their products for too long a period as the skin tends to be 'addicted' and skin may 'act up' once you stop using it. So to be safe, nowadays I'm trying to use them only on alternate days (hopefully this works?).

John Little is having sales --> 20% Storewide plus additional 20% off selected pdts!!! Was thinking of using this chance to grab some wants, then I realise there's not much on the list.. And so I controlled my spendings! They are all my "needs" not"wants", I can explain!! =P Needs like Essential Shampoo, Express Cleanser and Biore Sunblock (last bottle in white, dig out from below others wahahah) as I've already used them up.. Just 3 pdts and it's over $30, and got me a free pack of Nude wedges! Anyone tried it before?

Popped by Watson to get my eyebrow liner since JL don't sell Spring Heart pdt. No discount no nothing.. =( But I still got it anyway.. It's a need not a want! lolx.. Ok so I got a small bottle of cleanser as well, need to put at my boi's place. ;p The house brand cotton pad is for making up the $15 so i can claim the points.. wahahah Shhhhhh...

And recently I got a new toner! My previous toner either finished or too harsh.. But i need a toner and spot corrector and so... tadaaaa~ I got this.. *see below*

Before you get it wrong, not all is mine ok.. At least the Hydra zen moisturiser is not! That's my boi's sis's.. I got myself the Lancome toner 50ml x 4 = 200ml, and the 10ml spot corrector..

OKAY finally I've managed to upload my recent loots and now I'm back to blog!!

So I've been buying quite a bit recently, but I'm trying to control! wahahah.. 

Now let me start with blushers. Thanks to my KAL Xiao Han aka Ah Hiao, I got 2 blushers @ $20 from a website!

They are so lovely! But sadly, i doubt they can be used as a blusher.. More for highlighter(though I suck at it) i guess.. Nevertheless, just looking at it makes me feel so sweet. :)

Then I got my first counter brand fdn, Lunasol! Went for a makeover by Lunasol MA at Orchard Takshimaya and the MA reccommended me OC-01. Just when I wanted to get OC-01 LF, the staff says they are OOS! Damn sad, so i wanted to opt for cream fdn, OOS too! *itchy heart* No choice I had to end up with their 2way fdn.

Seems alot right? But actually is just a 2-way fdn for myself and a e/s for Lyn.. 

And there's the M'sia trip with  2 of my KAL khakis, Ah hiao and Samantha aka Dua Tao to go in shop shop shop~

We went in Sunday early noon and out at ard 6pm, heng traffic was smooth like running tap water! wahahah

This is what happens when dua tao and ah hiao sees nail polish.. Shiny ttm! wahaha

That's my loots of the day. 1 set of Mavala and Etude hse fdn brush for Lyn aka Moleyher(wah ur nick best!) And Dua Tao gave me the mascara free! Wee so happy~

Heard many cotters say the water base cleanser is a really effective and good MU remover. Hence itchy me rushed down to Watson, wanted miniature but only saw the dry skin ones, so ended up with a full sized wahaha..

Another Watson trip, feeling damn depressed and went to buy the slimming leg lotion.

Perfume loots from Chinatown.. Their perfumes are really cheap, so I went on to help my friends CP and I got myself a Paul Smith Rose & miniature Versace Bright Crystal.

Why I have 2 gwp? It's a complicated story. All I can say is a mishandle-ing and can issue solved with a token of sincerity. =D

 

My purchase yesterday. Desperately need a good exfoliation to see dead skins as my clinique step2 don't seem to make my skin feel "fresh".. Oh and the Missha BB cream is bought over from Yiling, $14 only! Thankew~

Avene Loots~

Yes, I bought pdts from Avene yesterday!

Supposedly ALL Avene pdts can be used for sensitive skin, but say if your skin is hypersensitive like how my skin is feeling recently, the above series would be the more ideal 1.

Went cwp with Yus yesterday after work, wanting to get their Anti Shine Lotion. Went in to JL, but the SA there makes me feel she's so bitchy that after asking her a lot of questions, I turned and walked away without buying anything, Hahah.. was feeling mean and evil yesterday..

Then I went to try Metro, and the SA there is so nice and kind that I got sweet talked into buying the above pdts(bundle of $49) instead of what I wanted initially! Lolx.. But the SA is really *thumbs up*, very polite and patient when explaining all my queries and nicely recommending the pdts to me. She even offered to gave me samples.. (JL SA don't even want to give when I tried to ask) Wanted the Diacneal initially, but SA say don't have so she offered other pdts instead.. So thoughtful right!

And! I also bought their Avene Thermal Water Spray($20.30 for 2). Lolx, shared the purchase with Yus cause she wanted to get but only needs 1.

Total Damage?? About $70+, but i paid $60 in total cause share Spray purchase.

Feeling Happy yet kinda scared I'll regret my purchase.. Tried the cleanser this morning.. No foam feels so weird.. lolx.. Toner is pretty alright, moisturiser can't really comment yet.. Have to see monitor a few more days i guess.. 

Maybeline Gel Liner~

I bought Maybelline Gel Liner yesterday!

Hahah.. finally succumbed to temptations.. U.P $19.90 , disc 20% @ JL.. Bought it with disc and my points, paid $10.90 for it! That's like almost a 50% off.. ^-^

And it comes with a eyeliner brush, it's so PRETTY & brush is really soft!

The colour is pretty intense as well.. Did a swatch on my hand with different thickness..



Shall test it out tonight at my colleague's wedding dinner to see how lasting and smudge-proof it is!!

Okay eyeliner aside.. I found my long-lost SANA Mascara and Shiseido mask and soap~~

Bought it like.. last year?? then somehow it got lost in space and finally after my "intensive search", it resurfaced! <3

Bought them during a spree last yr and when my colleague saw it she was raving away how good it is and even joined in the spree order with me.. It's like so good a deal at $6.90(?) when U.P is $20+.. They wanted 10 each(crazy right?), then after persuading them, they reduced to 5 each.. Then Yus and Me only bought 1 each..

And last but not least, a surprise findings.. a earring(?) that I bought last time.. was meant to give my friend.. somehow end up till now it's still with me.. probably should just use it myself..? Lolx..

New Purchases & some in 2009 *missed out*

Yea, just as how the title shows... I have new items to share!!!

Yipee~~~

I bought FANCL pdts again.. like finally.. after a year or two later, simply cause it's a tad too expensive for me to own them as they are all preservative-free, hence the lifespan of the pdt are relatively short..

Like for example, their Mild Cleansing Oil(MCO) is able to last 1 yr from expiry when un-opened, and 120days after opening. Usually I'll just continue to use.. But $33 is really ex for me.. So i switched to Biore Cleansing Oil($15.90) instead..

BUT, this time round I managed to get the items on a promotional price! My dance friend is working for the company so there's staff disc and etc.. Total damage for 3 bottles of washing powder and 2 small bottle of mco is only $39!! YEAShhh ^-^

The limited edition bottle is just so pretty!!!

Okay and now's the purchase I done last year?? There's the Missha Silky Soft Foundation in shade 13, bought it on impulse thinking it should be good like their highly raved bb cream.. Kinda regretted so much man.. Used only once but I think it doesn't like oily combi skin.. Should I sell it? Anyone keen on buying from me?? Lolx.. I think so.. can't remember the exact date.. But anyway, I've been wanting to buy TFS Professional Green Makeup Base($16+) so much that I went around different outlets to ask for them.. Finally I bought it! But ironically, till now I haven't even swatched the pdt on my hand before.. *faints*

Okay after all the regrets, Now I have the samples to test before making my impulse purchase again.. Avene samples.. 2 of which I got it during a sale I think.. It's free of course.. But haven't used it.. The last one is Clearance emulsion like a moisturiser that I just got yesterday, thanks to my friend, Yus! *thankew*

Ok, shall start with mask! Helped my colleague to order a mask recently, there were some hiccups but finally it arrived!

 This is what I got for my colleague.. Pink one is the Zamian/Jamian Gold Cacao Mask, Blue one is a Cleanser not sure what brand though.. Didn't see carefully.. Asked her if she wants the cleanser and since she don't need it, I took it.. hahaha Thanks *blink blink*

This is my own set though.. Been using for some time.. Will do a review more in detail.. This is gonna be a long post! wahahaha

And, this is what I got recently! Hahaha more samples yet again..

I went to buy empty jars, 2 for $1. Bought 4 in total. Great for containing all the liquid and powder samples as well as travelling set.. Gave 1 to my mom for putting her lipstick in, convenient and save space.. Then I bought the Chacott finishing powder ebay for only $2! Came in a zipped bag then I transferred into the sifter jar, think should be able to last quite some time.. And last but not least, I've the Ettusais Zero Pore Oil-free Pact! It's a sample but the packaging actually looks so much nicer than the usual that I see.. wahahah.. Shall give it a try SOON~~
