Nails!

Seriously, what's wrong with me!?

I guess I'm a shopaholic when I'm stressed up. But wait, boredom burns my pocket too! Not sure what came over me, my bank is depleting at lighting speed!

See the proof? Its a lot for me, considering I don't usually do nails..

Though not purchased on the same day, but still..!

China Glaze in Emerald Fitzgerald

I would like to think this is what stress did to me. Got it off gmarket, cheap cheap! *hearts cheap buys* I tried to apply on my nails but always end up wiping it off.. Not as easy to apply for amateur like me and seems to stain nails a little (must have base coat)... Colour wise, it's similar to what is on the screen *likes*.

OPI Black Shatter & Hopelessly in Love

Also off gmarket (different seller frm china glaze)! Was so tempted with the shatter craze and finally gave in to temptation. Not very used to the crack initially, but kinda got used slowly.. But one thing i have to say, it stinks imho... Hopelessly in Love is a very sweet light milky pink, sheer and build-able.. No pictures though (tsk, ps!).

Sally Hansen Double Duty

This is my 2nd bottle! Really makes my nail polish stays on longer and less prone to chipping.. And it's shiny! =P

Etude House purchase!

Had to knock off work earlier on Friday and bf wasn't in sg to accompany me, friends mostly still working.. To kill my boredom, this is what happened! Went cwp to kill time since I couldn't concentrate on assignments and i saw Etude House having 30% storewide sale! *blinks* Damage: $15.50 (mask is free~)

The packaging is so cute! Comes with a free pen too =P

Got myself a nail polish remover pump(not sure how u name it). Its an empty bottle, so you have to purchase separate nail polish remover to fill it.. Place a cotton pad on pump area and press down, done~ So much more useful than the normal bottle of nail polish remover, no worry about spilling too. =D

Base coat and cuticle exfoilator (??)

The base coat is easy to apply, dries fast too! Bought the cuticle exfoilator (??) as I wanted to remove the dead skin around my nails.. Apply on the cuticle area, wait for ~10sec and you can start exfoilating using the tool below (taught by their SA)..

No idea the name, but I'd say.. It does a pretty good job! I can see dead skin "shaved off". *shioks*

Oh and lastly.. I got freebies! From gmarket and Etude House respectively~

Eye Mask (L) and Face Mask (R)

*stares back at bank balance*
Heart pain! This is just the nails portion, I still have the online blogshop purchases!!! Stress, spend. Got time, also spend. OMG! *bites nails*

Me <3 Gmarket!!!

My once-thought-lost-mail parcel have finally found its way home!
Yipee~

Went online and bought some accessories off gmarket during starting May, almost gave up and accept it as lost mail when it arrived at my door step mid June!

chunky gold n black bangles!

straps!

kinda big and heavy.. but i still like <3

can't decide which to abandon, hence ended up with both!

And... I got some owls too (of course in accessories form)!

kinda common, but its cute and easy to match.

I like this, Colours!!

Last but not least... I got...

I love how the limps can move~

Okay summary time! See the items below? Hearty!

Gmarket can really be a danger zone for me at times. I always try to avoid gmarket because they are having sale like 24/7!

Revlon ColorStay Foundation in Nude!

I finally got my hands on it!

Lolx.. Have been contemplating whether to get it from online drugstore spree for this fdn in buff.. But is always eye-power only.. So yest, finally i went to JL and bought it at 20% + 10% disc off regular price.. think less than $20? Quite a good deal i would say, minus all the shipping and waiting..

Was about to get sand beige, then instead I went to ask whether Nude or Sand Beige is lighter.. SA recommended me Nude, so I took the risk and got Nude!

Applied this morning, so far so good! I would say the coverage is considered medium to almost full coverage, and the shade match me surprisingly al right(according to my colleague). Seems better than my clinique SuperFit because it's easier to spread.. SF feels drier..

Shall wait till tonight and review more tmr.. Hopefully is a positive 1!

Nature Republic Blusher

Nature Republic Blusher Shine Blossom in #2 (light peachy coral)

My newest purchase in the cosmetics section! Got it the day i went to get my iPhone! It was having a 20% disc, U.P @ $13.90 or $14.90 IIRC.

Actually I got it because I was attracted to the fluffy puff.. *hides*
Cause.. I've never had any blusher with fluffy puff before! Mine are mainly loose pigments or compressed 1 that uses brush to apply.. So this got me just all so tempted, plus it's a new korean brand and with disc!

hahaha.. ok so here's how it looks like..

Anyone heard of this brand before? It's Nature Republic, a korean brand, but the web is all in korean language, can't understand anything at all.. =(

Avene Loots~

Yes, I bought pdts from Avene yesterday!

Supposedly ALL Avene pdts can be used for sensitive skin, but say if your skin is hypersensitive like how my skin is feeling recently, the above series would be the more ideal 1.

Went cwp with Yus yesterday after work, wanting to get their Anti Shine Lotion. Went in to JL, but the SA there makes me feel she's so bitchy that after asking her a lot of questions, I turned and walked away without buying anything, Hahah.. was feeling mean and evil yesterday..

Extremely Gentle Cleanser and the Skin Recovery Cream

Then I went to try Metro, and the SA there is so nice and kind that I got sweet talked into buying the above pdts(bundle of $49) instead of what I wanted initially! Lolx.. But the SA is really *thumbs up*, very polite and patient when explaining all my queries and nicely recommending the pdts to me. She even offered to gave me samples.. (JL SA don't even want to give when I tried to ask) Wanted the Diacneal initially, but SA say don't have so she offered other pdts instead.. So thoughtful right!

Samples: Skin Recovery Cream, Cleanance Anti-Shine Lotion, Cleanance K Skincare, Cleanance Toner

And! I also bought their Avene Thermal Water Spray($20.30 for 2). Lolx, shared the purchase with Yus cause she wanted to get but only needs 1.

Total Damage?? About $70+, but i paid $60 in total cause share Spray purchase.

Feeling Happy yet kinda scared I'll regret my purchase.. Tried the cleanser this morning.. No foam feels so weird.. lolx.. Toner is pretty alright, moisturiser can't really comment yet.. Have to see monitor a few more days i guess..

New Purchases & some in 2009 *missed out*

Yea, just as how the title shows... I have new items to share!!!
Yipee~~~

I bought FANCL pdts again.. like finally.. after a year or two later, simply cause it's a tad too expensive for me to own them as they are all preservative-free, hence the lifespan of the pdt are relatively short..
Like for example, their Mild Cleansing Oil(MCO) is able to last 1 yr from expiry when un-opened, and 120days after opening. Usually I'll just continue to use.. But $33 is really ex for me.. So i switched to Biore Cleansing Oil($15.90) instead..

BUT, this time round I managed to get the items on a promotional price! My dance friend is working for the company so there's staff disc and etc.. Total damage for 3 bottles of washing powder and 2 small bottle of mco is only $39!! YEAShhh ^-^

The limited edition bottle is just so pretty!!!

Okay and now's the purchase I done last year?? There's the Missha Silky Soft Foundation in shade 13, bought it on impulse thinking it should be good like their highly raved bb cream.. Kinda regretted so much man.. Used only once but I think it doesn't like oily combi skin.. Should I sell it? Anyone keen on buying from me?? Lolx.. I think so.. can't remember the exact date.. But anyway, I've been wanting to buy TFS Professional Green Makeup Base($16+) so much that I went around different outlets to ask for them.. Finally I bought it! But ironically, till now I haven't even swatched the pdt on my hand before.. *faints*

Okay after all the regrets, Now I have the samples to test before making my impulse purchase again.. Avene samples.. 2 of which I got it during a sale I think.. It's free of course.. But haven't used it.. The last one is Clearance emulsion like a moisturiser that I just got yesterday, thanks to my friend, Yus! *thankew*

So here's the "family photos" for my today's loots~~

Last but not least.. I got this small bottle of eye drops recently for contact lens wearer.. My left eye seems to be giving me problem nowadays.. Hopefully this helps soothes my eyes...

CIAO~~~

PS: I wonder who would remember me in 13 days time.. hahaha

Update b4 my new purchase in 2010!!

It's 2010!!!

B4 I start to buy any more cosmetics and skincare pdts... I shall update what I had gotten since my last update here!! Do bear with me bcos it's gonna be a super long entry!

I got my Silk Naturals Mini Hauls!!! Haha.. it's really a mini haul compared to others.. Bought some lippies and foundation sample kits to try out =)

Pdts shown above: Maiden (l/g), XXX (l/s), Bloom (l/g), Tailfeather (e/s free), Flair (blush), Charming (blush), Babydoll (blush), Perfect Harmony Sample Kit (foundation)

Bought for 25+ Usd.. quite worth it I guess.. Other than the Tailfeather e/s which I got it free, they've kindly included another e/s and l/p sample in my foundation kit!!!

Went to do a comparison on the 3 lippies.. here's the swatch!

Bloom is a really pretty colour.. Thought it might be those very bright pink gloss but turns out it actually brightens my lips a little and give it a really nice slightly sheer glossy look to it..

As for maiden, I can't really comment much though.. It's a real nude lip colour for me.. Almost exactly the shade of my lips.. guess it's good for everyday work though.. =)

XXX is a great l/s in my opinion.. Only that I have to be careful not to over apply it as it feels a little drying and will have a little wash out look.. But with brush application, it's awesome!
At times when I want a natural light nude pinkish lips I will use xxx as base and a little bloom on top, and I'll have the innocent nude-ish pink lips!! Yipee~~

Went to play around the Perfect Harmony Kit and did a little comparison with my other fdn pdts... Got my formula of Buttery Gold: Warm Gold: Ivory in 1:0.5:13 . But I think it's not a perfect one yet.. probably shall try the next time using just pure Buttery Gold and Ivory.. hee..

Opps I forgot to mention.. Clinique Superfit in 61, Missha Lightest (cant remember name), Silknaturals mix and EDM in Fawn.

Here's my Clinique Superfit in 61, my SO bought it for me at Bishan J8 BHG for $50! *thanks* The SA there is very kind and when I asked her to help me try put it on my full face before purchase, she gladly did it for me! So nice of her...

Last but not least I bought my first full size moisturiser!! In the past I've been using samples and miniatures, never a full size before.. incredible? Heh...

L'Oreal Derma Genesis Gel moisturiser..
Tried the sample before buying it.. It's on 20% disc @ Metro Causeway point when I bought it, usual priced @ $29.90.. On sale till 3rd Jan?? Helps minimise pores and keeps my skin relatively well moisturised. Quick absorption and no sticky feeling after application.. I use it day, and more importantly at night as I feel it really keeps my face hydrated through the night I use 1 pump for my face and another pump for my neck(start protection early!)..

So that's ALL FOR THE TIME BEING!! YEAHhhh~~~

Time to update again!

PS: Sorry for late post though the sale is over, just wanna share..
And again i went to a SALE!! This time round it's the Shiseido sale held at Orchard Building.. Brands includes ZA, Ettusais, Shiseido, Majolica Majorca, and etc..

Overall it's really quite worth it.. examples they had..
MM automatic eyeliner, blusher, lippies going at 3 for $15,
ZA lipsticks $3,
Ettusais Mascara each @ $12,
Biotera Shampoo and conditioner 2 for $10,
and of cos.. mani mani MORE!!!

The venue was really quite packed though.. you get to see ladies and even guys crowding around, trying to squeeze their way in to see cosmetics, and people swapping "place" to see other items.. These are all alright, the scary part is when you see hands coming from all angles trying to grab a sample/tester.. Imagine all crowding around hands everywhere you see.. beside your waist, over your shoulder, across your chest and everywhere.. But, it's SALES!! of cos ppl will kanchiong.. hahaha

Anyway here's my haul of that day..

Bought Biotera Shampoo & Conditioner, ZA l/s, MM face&body gitters, blusher as well as eyeliner!! Total damage $34 (I'm so excited!!!)
